Charming Slice of Tea History in Kandy
锡兰茶博物馆的点评
点评：We had a lovely visit to the Ceylon Tea Museum in Kandy! The setting itself is quite charming, housed in a restored tea factory with lots of character. We really enjoyed the brief but informative tour, where one of the team members walked us through the historical tea-making process — it was a nice mix of education and storytelling without feeling too long or formal.
Included in the entry price was a relaxing cup of freshly brewed tea, which we enjoyed in a calm setting with great views from the top of the factory. There’s also a small gift shop on-site; we didn’t feel pushed into purchasing at all — lots of different teas for those interested.
Overall, it offered a great insight into the history of tea in Sri Lanka. We took a Tuk Tuk both ways via Uber, which was convenient and added a bit of local flavor to the outing. Would definitely recommend it for a peaceful, culturally rich hour or two in Kandy.
