和平饭店的点评
点评：Having visited Shanghai many times in the past, we decided to stay at the hotel on 8th Feb for 4 nights. We booked a Fairmont Gold Room on the executive floor. The room was spacious and elegantly designed. The bathroom was big and well ventilated. We were extremely impressed with the services at the hotel in particular at the Gold Lounge. Scott, Kevin, Jun, Lance, Melody and Kitty at the lounge worked with a very high 5 stars stanard of attitude and expression of professionalism. I would also like to give a special thank you to Jun, i was given a bottle of the same red wine to take home after he learnt that I enjoyed it while we were having a glass at the lounge during the evening. We also took a guided historical tour of the hotel. The tour was informative and well presented. We also visited the Jazz Bar and enjoyed the soungs and the old age band playing the lovely music. The buffet breakfast at the Gold Lounge was good, but we found there were much more selections in the Jasmine Lounge downstairs. As an Accor Platinum Member and had stayed at Sofitel and Fairmont hotels in different places and counteries, I found Fairmont Peace Hotel is operated at a very high level of standard and provided a more than 5 stars services to its guest. We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel and will definitely stay there again on our next visit to the vibrant Shanghai.
