点评：Travelling to PNG was so out of my comfort zone but it was the trip of a lifetime and will leave it's mark forever.
I travelled with friends using PNG Frontier Adventures and it was planned so well throughout. I cannot fault the care and kindness I felt and always so safe.
We started out trip in Wewak staying at the lovely Boutique Hotel there where Sam looked after us. Chris Karis was in charge and had the whole trip organised without a fault. We met the Sepik boatman and travelled up the mighty Sepik in a long dug out canoe with motor. Very comfortable with wicker chairs and safety aids. We arrived in Kanganumum village where we were treated like royalty welcomed into the Spirit Haus (haus Tamboran). Truly amazing. Then we stayed in the guest house which is largely made from sago palm and we had our own room with mosquitoe net and all bedding supplied. Very comfortable and clean. Food was supplied and although basic at times added to the experience as often eating the local diet. Bottled water throughout. We visited lots of different villages and Don Karis received us to his guest house also which was great. Shower was over the river so quite an experience.
I think the main memories are from the reception we received and the care and kindness particularly want tomention Chris, George, Manu and Mas, who travelled with us keeping us safe and fed.
It's hard to describe how amazing this trip truly is and if you want a very real adventure to a place still largely untouched by our way I would say go for it. I hope I get to go back again knowing now what to expect from the culture, customs and way of life. A very real experience
