Interesting gardens, dog friendly and nice cafe. Worth a visit.

点评：Visited as part of the 2 for 1 GW offer so £11.50 for us. Guy on the entry kiosk was a bit derisory of the discount card for some reason. Really enjoyed the gardens with winding paths through the many ornamental trees, azaleas, rhododendrons, bluebells and tulips. Some formal garden aswell as the cascade and wildflower meadow. A photographers dream if you enjoy taking pictures of plants and landscape. I would suspect there’s always something different to see depending on the season.
The house looked interesting but we did not visit on this occasion.
Plenty of shade options when walking around with our dog especially as it was a very warm day 30/4.
Cafe was very good and scones were fresh, coffee was tasty and a delicious selection of cake and tray bakes.
Car park was rather chaotic as there was setting up of tents for the upcoming weekend spring fair. A bit of signposting could have been useful as it was unclear whether parking in certain parts of the car park was allowed and we were in our campervan maybe an over flow car park should have been opened
