点评：We researched beforehand and expected to pay 15 euros each for entry to the ruins and beach BUT when we arrived we were asked to pay only in Turkish Lira and charged 1596 TL for 2 people's entry plus an additional 300 for headphones we could not use. This was the equivalent of 48 euros for entry (24 each) and the fact the headphones did not work with the QR code by the ticket booth means they were a total waste of money. We were given no information, such as a map, and our tickets stated 15 euros despite us paying considerably more than this, which looks like a scam. When we returned to the ticket office to query the rise in charge and try to return the unused headphones we were told that nothing could be done. The government is responsible for both this price hike and the unexpected change in the currency demanded and the entire operation needs investigation. Don't pay this exorbitant cost! If you only want entry to the beach (which is a similar amount in any case) then look at other options posted on Trip Advisor such as going by the dunes, which is what the locals do. If you really want to see the ruins then take your own headphones rather than being expceted to pay another 300 liras and don't let them simply add it to your ticket (as they did with us). Horrible to feel cheated, especially when you can see equally impressive amphitheatres in other locations such as Kas and Fethiye for nothing. Why are tourists funding the restoration of Turkish heritage at this site? Would add that the most impressive relic is the rebuilt llighthouse but it's covered in scaffolding, despite looking complete. We were asked by the foreman not to post images of this on social media!
