Definitely worth a visit if your in Ankara!

点评：Anitkabir was very interesting to get into, as it’s the resting place of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk who was a very well respected man in Turkey due to his achievements during his era, meaning security is very tight, you will have your car checked and one of you will have to get out of the car to sign in too. There can be queue for this so we suggest to go in a bit early. The area is bit and you will need around 2 hours to get around and see everything, you can see the courtyard, his final resting place where his Tomb lies and there is also a museum with many of his belongings and details of his achievements during his reign.
The museum has an entrance on 1 side of the courtyard and you exit from the other side, it’s free to enter and the opening hours are 9 till 5. We don’t know the times but there are also military services for changing of the guard during the day that can be interesting to watch, there is a lot of soldiers there too with a variety of different uniforms which is interesting to see. It’s definitely worth a visit if you are in Ankara.
