点评:My family and my child had highly upsetting expirience at the museum. We visited an hour ago, everything seemed to be normal, but then, right before we were going to leave I looked at some of the last exponates and the lady, that sat at the front - she was wearing red sweather, glasses and had her hair tied up - her name is Wanda Bunker - she rushed through the door and went straight to my 6y/o daughter that was walking right next to a bison in the exebition enjoing her visit and looking around. Wanda tried to aproach my daughter, but my daughter does not speak english (as we are visiting USA from europe). She tried to talk to her several times, when my daugter kept walking away from her she grabbed her by the shoulder. My daughter does not know her and the fact that a stranger grabbed her made her really upset. While trying to talk to my daughter Wanda asked her several times ( 3 times to be exact) - do you want to go to the restroom, I can take you.
I saw the situation and told Wanda that my kids don’t speak english. She told me that if they want to go to the restroom, she can take them.
To approach a child that doesn’t speak any english grab them by the shoulder and ask them to go to the restroom together is highly inappropriate. This should never ever happen in a museum. My child was very upset. All three of my children now are on high alert after this situation. When we walked out to leave Wanda tried to small talk with us and I let her know we are upset. She tried to defend herself by telling me that she wanted to give them gift bags. I told her that I was there, I heard and saw everyting with my own eyes. Linnea Wrigt was standing together with Wanda at theat exact moment when I vocalized the situation and she joined in trying to defend Wanda, but when actual grabbing happened Wanda stood right next to bison and Linnea was around the corner in the shop looking at her phone. For Linnea to tell me that I misheard and misunderstand the situation is just shameless. I sent a complaint to the museum director and did not her back from her, it has been couple of days now.
I hope there is going to be an investigation and that there will be action taken after this unfortunate situation.
We have travelled through countless states and visited countless museums and this is the first time when something like this happens to us. Shame.
