点评:Just returned from Stobo after a trip with my daughter so thought do feedback . Sadly wasn’t offered a chance on checkout .
The check in was less than impressive - clearly not staying in the actual castle makes a difference . No pleasantry told our room take your car round side , no where to go for anything. Someone behind us was offered tour but even some info on where things were would been helpful and given there were little staff around the first hour was a magical mystery tour.
Room was good comfy bedding pillows . Shower was tricky with the grab rail in some very random place . Floor had lot of crumbs on it .
Having booked meals again off we went to find the restaurant / no guidance or where to go had to ask .
Meals were lovely except on the menu change day lunch could been warmer but they asked and provided feedback. Staff in restaurant were great.
Spa area lovely and outside hot tubs but first thing in morning would expect them to be clean but lots of bits floating in them from trees .
The aqua aerobics instructor had a terrible attitude and approach like something from
A military fitness camp not a luxury spa - was not impressed at all .
Had two treatments and both were lovely. Albeit one delayed to staff sickness which could not be helped
I checked out our room and settled the account by 10 no pleasantry again from receptionist and she was busy on phone . Nothing about did you have a nice stay even answered phone when my transaction was going through.
Having had drinks at lunch my daughter went to pay for them at reception and also handed a key in was then very rudely advised that all guests are expected to be dressed and leave by 12 even tho we had been out room and paid 3 hours prior. We had our own robes and chose to remain I. Them till we left at lunchtime .
Whilst we had a lovely time on the whole some aspects of front facing customer service is not of a world class spa .
How you track people coming in and out I do ? As only some areas need key .
Maybe stay in castle if you want the perfect experience as that is what it feels like
