点评:Just got back from a week's skiing - the resort is very pretty and compact so easy to get to the lifts, supermarket and restaurants. The pistes were varied, not busy bar Sunday morning and probably well groomed (not an expert but they seemed OK to me).
It has a bunch of places to eat and for evening meal with wine we paid 60-70 euros most places and 45-55 in La Maison de Laurent where we ended up each night towards the end of the trip. The food was good and we went home full every day.
Note that the village is EXTREMELY quiet - we would pass two to four people and one car or so only on the way out/in at night - good for some I guess but tbh a bit much for us and we are not party animals. Not much in the way of bars either - one apre ski with overly loud music by the lift, one that looks like someones back garden and nothing else really. Most places big beers are about E8.
For shopping - there are a few small shops and one supermarket - you can walk them all in about 15 minutes so v. small if that's your thing I'm afraid.
The skiing! - we were a bit unlucky with the weather most of the week due to mist/fog but most of the pistes were still open for the adventurous bar the La Rosiere link which we only got to use on our last day when it was gloriously sunny (we had sun a day earlier but it was still closed for some reason). That in mind I would say the pistes in LaRos seemed nicer - big, high, sweeping open plains to swoosh down with wonderful views versus the ones in La Thuile that seemed generally smaller and more inconsistent in their difficulty i.e. blues with short steep bit then kms of near flat.
Despite only two clear days we managed to ski most of the blues /reds in both resorts and would have done them all with better weather.
Overall I thought it was lovely but would not go again due to the quietness and the preferable pistes at LaRos.
