Overwhelmingly Underwhelming

点评：I brought my dad for a tasting after telling him about its amazing view and how much I enjoyed previous tastings. We had booked 2 for the reserve tasting ($25 each) and on arrival were offers three already picked tastings which may be because it happened to be Valentine’s Day or perhaps you no longer can choose your own four. The service was sadly really poor, our “server” kept going to help other folks and even went to take a photo for a group outside while we stood there waiting for our next glass. There were two other staff in the shop not helping anyone. The wines which were listed for choices were unfortunately half not ones we would have picked but we did each decide to buy a bottle of wine. It’s disappointing that they don’t offer reduced tasting rate when you buy wine as we ended up spending $100 and my dad was really underwhelmed.
We did decide to pop over the restaurant for a glass of wine but service ended up being really poor though th server was a really lovely girl. We asked for the menu for happy hour snacks and she didn’t come back for 10 minutes to check so we ended up just getting the bill.
It seems that the charm and appeal that many of us locals enjoyed has been lost and this is no longer the place to go for a memorable (positive) experience.
To to Mission Hill or Frind for a more engaged experience.
