A must-see place to visit (and wine taste!)

点评：Treated ourselves on our extended holiday to celebrate my retirement and booked the First Taste half day tour. Was amazing and well worth it.
Lavinia and Swafka were our guide and driver today, as we went round the vineyards in 'Dave' the Land Rover, and they were so knowledgeable and made the trip even more worthwhile. They took care to personalise our visit and answered all our questions, giving us a great insider awareness of the history and the story behind the brand,as well as the local farming and growing/picking methods.
Lavinia then helped us with our tasting session , which was superb, and introduced us to some new wines, which we loved. We bought some to take away and also arranged to have some delivered to home to use as gifts for our family. Much better than a T shirt!
Ended our visit with lunch, which was an additional cost to our tour, but enabled us to linger in the delightful premises they have there. Nothing was rushed. Everyone was kind and friendly.
We recommend this is a planned stop to those who like the brand already, or to wine lovers who would like to see what the fuss is all about. Suggest you book ahead for a tasting at this time of year, as we saw a few 'drop ins' who couldn't be immediately accommodated whilst we were there. We booked the First Taste tour as soon as the dates became available months ago, as it was something we didn't want to miss out on.
