Konstantina, who is a food technologist and olive oil laboratory expert, with very warm greek approach manages this event for guests. Event takes place in the olive tree garden & local church small village square on the heels of Finikouda. I recommend doing this olive oil experience in late afternoon. Konstantina in a very friendly, funny and open way explains major factors of how the olive oil is produced. What role it takes for Greek culture and people. During the tasting there is clear explanation of what the difference of produced olive oil qualities can be. Guests by tasting olive oil (with paired food examples) are able themself to identify the difference and recognize qualities of the oils. This experience will allow guest to make better choices when buying olive oil for themself in the shops in the future. Will also be better aware of how long and how the olive oil shall be stored to keep it’s best quality.
Precise, technical questions can be asked. Konstantina has no problem answer all of them.
Every guest receive a certificate that proves abilities to understand olive oils as a product more than before.
