Better hire a private driver than book with these tricksters
Nusa Penida My Trip的点评
点评：We booked with My Trip for 3 days, 2 nights, hoping to explore the beauty of Nusa Penida conveniently in the presence of a local guide. But it didn’t prove to be very fruitful. Several factors;
a) the driver/ guides were constantly pulling tricks and used tactics to stop us from covering all the places mentioned in the itinerary. Happened to us on all three days. The last day was a mere filler.
Also, they won’t let go of any chances to make you pay extra here and there. They charged us extra because we wanted to stay for the sunset at Klingking beach even when they made us skip the promised sunset spot ( the itinerary included crystal Bay for the sunset but they refused to take us there).
b) they make you ditch the best snorkelling points because that saves them a penny. For us, Manta point and other snorkelling points for the turtles were not covered.
They lie and tell you that there won’t be any Mantas blah blah. Make sure to not fall for that and ask them to take you to the promised point. You can leave the rest to luck.
c) the food included is below average. Food there doesn’t cost a lot, neither does finding a decent accommodation nearby. So better make your own arrangement than booking with them. It is way more cost effective and is just to your liking.
A tip: book a private car from somewhere there (can do it online). That way you get to personalise your trip without falling for their tricks. You’ll get to manage your time better. Having a private driver will save you the hassle. I won’t suggest driving on your own because the roads there are very dangerous.
