Blind Lake的点评
点评：Blind Lake is a panoramic lake located near to the Shigar Valley, Skardu. It is also known by its other name of Jarba Zhou Lake.
It was given the name of Blind Lake because it doesn’t have a direct water source or discharge source. It is surrounded both sides by rivers, the Indus River and the Shigar River. Both rivers being potential water sources.
The lake is also on the legendary route to K2.
There is parking at the lake and a small entrance fee to access the lakeside area.
There are a number of food stalls close by to the lake selling drinks and snacks and there are also toilet facilities.
I walked the entire perimeter of the lake with my guide when I visited. It was a tough walk because a lot of it was on uneven rocks. The walk is around 9km. It isn’t a recommended walk for visitors but I’m glad I did it.
You don’t have to embark on a long walk, you can just visit the main part of the lake and enjoy its beauty.
