点评：So cool. A bucket list success.
I was in Medellin and decided to be adventurous. I set up the paragliding trip with Lizz, who was very responsive and helpful. She set me up with a taxi driver named Mauricio, who picked me up at my hotel and brought me to the site. Near the launch site, he gave me the option of paying a 23,000 Cop toll to drive the short remaining distance, or walking up the 300 steps to the launch site. I wanted the full experience (and maybe I am a cheap old guy), so I walked the steps. Mauricio came with me. It was early morning, and we were met by Lizz and the pilot, who was Daniel. After short instructions, I was on the runway. (And it really is a runway, since you take off by running toward the edge of the mountain.) After liftoff, with a Go-Pro video camera in hand, we rose into the clouds. Awesome. After gliding around for 20 minutes, with a narrative from Daniel, we made a safe landing exactly where we started. The ground crew quickly helped us unpack from the equipment.
