A GREAT experience at Saddleback

点评：My wife and I, along with another couple, went to Saddleback on Feb. 20th, a beautiful blue sky day. We all were impressed on arrival by the helpful staff, especially Judy who answered several questions about our on line ticket purchases. First issue solved.
The chair lifts were well run and efficiently operated. There was plenty of snow on the trails and groomed to perfection. Even though there were quite a few school vacation week families there, they were spread out it never felt as if they were crowded.
We chose to go to their new on mountain restaurant, the Nest, located at the top of the Rangeley lift. What a wonderful surprise! The building itself has a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside and is extremely comfortable and the staff welcoming. The food is upscale pub fare, but don’t take that lightly. I had the oyster Po’boy, it was served on one of the BEST French baguettes that I have had anywhere! The oysters were very tasty, the sauce added some extra flavor and it was well dressed with lettuce and kim chee. Two of the group had the steak tacos, three to a serving. Both cleaned their plates and couldn’t stop talking about how good they were. Our fourth member had the Cubano sandwich. WOW! It was huge. More than enough for two people to share, and then some! She too couldn’t say enough about how wonderful it was. (She wrapped the uneaten half in to go foil and her husband put it in his ski parka “to go”.)
Overall it was an EXCELLENT experience all around. We will definitely be returning, sooner than later. We all highly recommend Saddleback for a great time!
