Oneworld Lounge, Lounge No.40的点评
点评：All very unfortunate, really. The BA lounge at Heathrow is excellent. This OneWorld offering at Schipol Amsterdam was a designer disaster. The dreadful metal tables are a hazard for anyone unsteady on their feet and already chipped round the edges. Mine was dirty. The seats have inset glass table tops that are accumulating dried food under the edges. The seating was hard and uncomfortable. The food included cheese that had been there so long that it had dried out and gone curly. The plates were totally flat, which meant that food had to be balanced precariously in the middle. The only way to reach for the plates was to rummage about at knee level of other passengers and hope you ended up with a plate and not a lawsuit...
Goodness me, this isn't difficult to get right.
Signs to it are just about nonexistent. If you don' know it's Lounge 40 and exactly where it is, you won't find it.
Thankfully, lovely staff.
