点评:My wife and I visited the Koutsogiannopoulus Wine Museum in December. It was low season then and we were the only group visiting at that time, which gave us lots of space to look at the exhibits at a leisurely pace.
The owners took 21 years to build this museum (according to the website). In this 300 metres long cellar turned museum are models, paintings, old photos, machines, equipment, and some of the owners collection of artefacts and documents. We had an hour there but it was not enough to view all the displays.
The exhibits were very informative: gave us a glimpse into the wine making process in Santorini and the challenges the owners faced.
At the end of the self guided tour was a wine tasting session. We opted for 4 wines. Eri who manned the wine tasting station was very knowledgeable and charming. We had an enjoyable time.
We would return if we get a chance to visit Santorini in the future.
