Fort Myers Beach的点评
点评：First of all, Fort Myers Beach has come a very long way in recovering from the numerous hurricanes that they had endured in the past 26 months. Obviously, hurricane Ian was the most devastating but the others since Ian continue to provide set backs to their rebuilding efforts.
We have been visiting Fort Myers Beach for many years now. Although the massive rebuilding efforts continue on a daily basis, the progress is remarkable. Thanks to the locals who stayed and for all of those who continue to help rebuild.
I feel that you need to consider all of this when you visit the area. I understand the frustration of the traffic and various conditions in the area but please consider this before you visit. Don’t go if you are in a rush, or expect all of the top restaurants to be back open, or want pristine beach water. Go if you want to support the local business who have creatively come up with ways to stay in business with food trucks, mobile tents, etc. You can still visit or vacation there while having a good time, enjoying the miles of clean beaches, the food options available and the numerous activities in the area.
Just be patient and enjoy your time at Fort Myers Beach and you will have a delightful time.
