Waste of money.

点评：Oh what has happened the gardens are a disgrace? What happened to the beautiful parterre garden? The displays of unusual pumpkins. The olive grove? Where is all the money from The Diggers Garden Club going?
There was rubbish and dead tree logs and general garden waste strewn all around. The gardens were looking unloved and unkempt. Made my heart break.
Finally I got to see the inside of the historic house which was lovely a long time dream of mine.
It now houses the cafe with lovely places to sit both inside and out and is also dog friendly.
The service at the cafe was appalling. 12.30 lunch time and already sold out of all food items on the menu. Only a toastie or cake left. Waited 40 minutes for cider then another 20 for a toastie.
When I went inside to enquire about the food a man approached me and asked how long I had waited then he told me he had been waiting an hour just for a coffee. Hugely disappointed and
will never return. All the gardeners of the past and present must be heart broken as well to see how the once mighty, stunning historical gardens have been neglected.
Not worth the entry price or your time.
