Fun time but not a safe work environment

点评：This review should be 4 stars...my family and I had a good time. It was expensive but we went after 3pm so we got a discount. The reason for the low rating is my concern for employee safety. The water park entrance is right next to the speedway track and the employees who work that station are constantly in an environment that I don't think would meet the federal standards for a healthy work environment. They constantly breath the emissions from the race track, and the noise is so loud that it's hard to communicate with customers...exposed to this all day must be damaging to their hearing. These race cars are louder than lawn mowers (82-90 dBA) and "long or repeated exposure to sounds at or above 85 dBA can cause hearing loss."
It would be so simple to put up some plexiglass 8ft high to reduce their exposure to harmful vapors and fumes. If the management takes actions like these towards their employees, I imagine they will have happier employees who in turn will be more inclined to create a positive atmosphere to visitors. This is such low hanging fruit, there is no reason to not do this ASAP. We will be back next year...if I see this is not taken care of, we will turn around and go somewhere else.
