点评：Justine's enthusiasm for gin and distilling shines through the story she tells about deciding to make two distinctive and very drinkable gins that reflect the Kaikoura landscape. She uses botanicals from the farmscape and the mountain-to-sea journey of Hutton Shearwaters (the bird that nests in the Seaward Kaikouras) to craft two gins that have won awards for their taste and quality.
In addition to telling the story of their creation, she gives her guests a sample of both the Woolshed and the Shearwater varieties, along with helpful hints about pairing them with good quality mixers and botanical accents.
An excellent experience that three of our Aussie house guests thoroughly enjoyed! Even the dyed-in-the-wool single malt drinker in our group was impressed by the Shearwater Gin!
