点评：This review is long overdue, but not due to the quality of our experience with Canyons PV—it was one of our best family adventures (2 adults, 11 and 14-year-olds)! We met Esteban and Omar in January 2024 after great communication with Esteban, who patiently addressed all my concerns as an inexperienced climber. The pickup was a little confusing due to phone issues, but we eventually found each other and drove about 20-30 minutes out of town where we geared up and started our hike through town and straight up. We weren’t expecting such a steep ascent or the unstable ground but it quickly kicked us into gear and soon we found ourselves away from the bustle of the city and immersed in the lush surroundings with beautiful views of the city. Given the season, the waterfalls were dry which was initially disappointing but ultimately we were very grateful since it was chilly in the shade and the surfaces were slick. We rappelled down several waterfalls, and each descent made us more grateful for the unique experience. Along the way, we took breaks and enjoyed a picnic lunch of tasty tortas from a local store. Despite being exhausted, we didn’t want the adventure to end.
Esteban and Omar were fantastic start to finish—engaging with the kids, informative, and reassuring. This has been one of our most talked-about experiences, and we can't wait to return to Puerto Vallarta for another adventure with Esteban!
