Lovely lake walk. Disappointing Reverie!

点评：We thoroughly enjoyed our walk around the lake. Well maintained paths even after all the rain. Excellent views of the lake.
Got to the Reverie at about 11.45. Went inside and asked if they could do Coffee and cake for two people. Answer was, Yes, to both, and if we sat outside they would come and take our order. Ten minutes later, someone wandered out and we ordered a coffee and a soft drink. We asked again about cake. The reply was, "I'll go and ask what we have left"!!! After a further ten minutes, no one had come back at all, not even to bring the two drinks. So, we left. It was obvious that having staff wandering around, setting tables with napkins and cutlery for possible lunchtime guests had much greater priority than serving the guests that they actually had in front of them.
