点评：We did the free tour of the winery and the cellars. The presented history of the winery and the wine industry in Missouri was fascinating to hear. We learned of the important tie-in to the French and Napa Valley wine making industries. The whole wine making process was discussed with differences between strict French process and the more flexible and experimental processes that others such as Stone Hill can use. The trip through the cellars and seeing the barrels, vats and other wine making equipment was interesting.
We did the wine tasting for $15. The tasting allows you to pick 6 different wines to taste. The amount is limited (saw one reviewer complaining on size), a couple of swallows of each wine, but is easily sufficient to allow appreciation of each of the wines. Each wine was served at its proper temperature with some being more chilled than others. Very good wines especially if you like less dry wines.
