点评:I live in New York, but a little over an hour outside of the city. My daughter and I were taking the train down to see a Broadway show and have a lunch at Carmine‘s in Times Square with a school friend. To kill time, we popped in to the Times Square Disney store. I must caution all people visiting the store to be extra careful on the escalators! My daughter‘s pant leg got stuck in the escalator and as I worked to pull her pants loose, her head was consistently banged by the black rubber handle that continued to move. She has a terrible bruise on her face and is traumatized from the event. To make matters worse, there was no apology provided by the staff. They provided ice packs and offered to call EMS. When I went to file an incident report, the staff clearly had no idea how to do this. They merely took a piece of paper, jotted my information down and told me I would be contacted in 2 to 3 business days. It is now been over a week since the incident occurred and I’ve heard from no one via phone nor email. Additionally, I have tried reaching out to the store and am unable to speak with anyone nor am I able to leave a voicemail, rather the pre-recorded prompt instructs me to call back again and keep trying. My daughter has a horrible bruise on the side of her head and I’ve had to take her to her doctor to have it examined. The event was traumatic for her and she is afraid to get on escalators. I’m deeply disappointed with how the Disney store is handling the situation and because I feel voiceless I’m now having to share this as part of a review.
