点评：Our adventure in Tana Toraja is definitely an unforgettable one!
Thanks to our incredible guide, we became deeply knowledgeable about the region's stories, traditions, and customs, he shared everything with a mix of cultural insight, empathy, and humor—always taking the time to understand where we were coming from and tailoring the experience to match, all enriched by his storytelling and the occasional funny twist that added just the right spice.
Our 3 days tour struck the right balance between visiting out-of-this-world cultural monuments and taking peaceful countryside walks that showed us both the everyday life and the hidden gems of the region.
Tana Toraja is truly a remarkable, off-the-beaten-track destination. As two fairly well travelled friends always up for a good slice of adventure, we don’t usually go for full-time guides—but we’re definitely glad we did on this occasion. Having a guide and driver made all the difference: prevented us from getting lost in the meanders of the deep countryside (and stay ON the road), gained a much needed context (very different from anything we knew), and walked away with a much deeper appreciation for this extraordinary place.
Highly recommend Mr Arru (WhatsApp/phone:+6285299235999) and his driver if you fancy your own slide of adventure.
