点评：As a family of avid readers, visiting Shakespeare and Company was a must—and it did not disappoint! Stepping inside feels like entering a literary time capsule, surrounded by walls lined with books, creaky wooden floors, and the unmistakable scent of old paper and history.
The charm is in the details—from the handwritten notes tucked into books to the famous poetic staircase, every inch of the space feels like it holds a story. While they discourage photos (which we may or may not have taken a few of), it’s understandable given how intimate and special the space is.
We loved exploring the maze-like bookshelves, the upstairs reading room, and the cozy nooks perfect for getting lost in a book. Despite the line outside, the experience was well worth it.
