Fantastic Site for young Children. Staff are also incredible

点评：As a local, I’ve visited the Roman site at Corbridge many times with my family, godchildren, and nephews — and it’s always a brilliant day out. But on this occasion, it was truly exceptional.
Debbie, who works in the museum, went above and beyond to make the visit special for my son. Her passion for the site really shone through, and it was clear how much joy she takes in helping children connect with our local history.
The site itself is a treasure trove for young imaginations. The granary — which to little ones feels like a network of Roman tunnels — is perfect for safe exploration. And the remains of the Roman high street are incredibly detailed, giving children a real sense of what life was like in a bustling Roman town 2,000 years ago.
A huge thank you to Debbie and to English Heritage for preserving and sharing such a wonderful piece of history. We’ll be back again soon
