Rude manager and stolen property.

点评：Visited this spa for a well needed rest and catch up with my friend. Wish I’d never set foot in the place!
When we arrived there we were told that we couldn’t go in as a member of staff had called in sick, and that we had been telephoned to tell us this. We did not get any calls at all. Begrudgingly the manager eventually let us in, as if she was doing us a huge favour.
I’m my haste to get in the spa (after having to wait around whilst she went to find out if we could go in) I mustn’t have locked my boots away with the rest of my stuff. When I got out of the spa I came back to get changed to find that they were missing. £180 pair of dr martens.
The same manager wasn’t even shocked that they had been stolen (!?) and didn’t help us to look or anything. She just told us that she would email the people who had also used the spa.
Have made a complaint and been told they will look into the matter but not been offered a refund or anything to try and make the situation right. Wish I’d never gone!
