Very nice secluded State Park

点评：Scenic, quiet and peaceful. All facilities were well kept. We had an RV spot with 30 amp electric, water and sewer under tall trees about 150 yards from the lake. It was EZ to level up (as most appeared to be) and had room to extend the slide on one side and patio awning on the other plus park the tow vehicle and play corn toss. A picnic table and charcoal grille were right there. The centrally located comfort station with showers was very clean. Our park host was super friendly. There was an 18 hole mini golf course just a few steps away ($4) with a big porch swing for watching. Near the lake was a nice sized gazebo ringed with seats under the shade of a large tree with Spanish moss flowing down which was very relaxing if you remembered to slather yourself with insect spray. the gnats were numerous and inescapable which was the only drawback to our visit. We did not avail ourselves of the boating facilities so no comment there. No wi-fi and Verizon cell signal was one bar. We would come back again but with a supply of Deep Woods Off.
