Even when the Mill is closed, it is still interesting and beautiful.

点评：First, I have to say, the Mill was actually closed when we went. Due to a traffic incident impeding our access to the location of choice for the day, our plans changed and I forgot the Mill was closed on Tuesdays (Mondays as well). We drove out and realized our error when greeted by a staff member (and advised of the days and hours of operation). Now, here we come to the interesting part. Although we did not tour the Mill, and plan to return next year to do so, we had a remarkably interesting conversation with the staff member who greeted us. (There was also a very patient and tolerant employee doing repair work on site). In fact, we may have actually got more out of the visit than I expect we would have if the Mill had been open. It is amazing to speak to someone who clearly loves their job and has so much information about local history. We cannot wait to go back next year to see what we missed.
