Don't bother unless you don't mind the risk of losing £100.

点评：This used to be one of my favourite places - I have been going since i was a child, but the parking issues ruin it now.
On my latest visit I was slow to pay as I was excited to get there on my birthday (Christmas Eve) at 4 pm, making it just in time for a sunset walk, and only remembered to pay once we had walked onto the beach. Ran back and paid, but got a £100 fine a few weeks later. I understand they need to make some money to run the car park, and a fine is probably fair enough, but £100 is too much.
The parking machines are also unreliable, making the risk of a large fine too high, so I will park at South Beach in Brid in the future. It might be worth it if the cafe was okay, but it is pretty poor now and not worth bothering with.
I am giving it 2* as I have such lovely memories of coming here in the past. I really hope they decide to change who runs the car parking system. It would be nice if the cafe was worth going to too.
