点评：I had contacted them to ask if we could do a Downton Abbey tour, the charming man I spoke to made all the arrangements for just myself and husband to have a tour at 12pm with the lovely Isabel on the day we were travelling to stay in near by Minster Lovell
Being disabled we were able to park very near to the reception, and on entering Isabel was waiting for us, she had so much knowledge, not only of the filming of Downton Abbey as she was there during most shoots, but also of the farm itself.
It was lovely seeing the spring lambs. Ducklings and chick's, and when we ate our picnic, some chickens paid us a visit pecking all around us for some crumbs.
If you are a Downton Abbey fan this tour is not to be missed, you are told about partiular shots, shown photos and told about little mishaps of what went on, so if you want to learn about the dovecot, or hay waggon, or even Blenheim Palace water this is a must do. There is a video in both the house and stables where you get an insight into this lovely farm
Wonderful place for children they can pet the animals, lots of benches to sit and have a picnic, or just sit in the lovely sunshine, why not have a game of croquet, all whilst visiting a place that dates back to 1070.
Nice tea rooms with plenty of outdoor seating, and a little gift shop with some nice things both for adults and children
