Hidden wonder, well worth the time
Miniature Engineering Craftsmanship Museum (MECM)的点评
点评：We found this museum accidentally online and decided to check it out. It's located such that we missed on the first pass (saw it after we missed the driveway). We went back and were blown away!
It's a free-will entry and were happy to pay on the way out. About a third of the space include miniatures in wood. The detail was fascinating and I could have spent more time there. The rest of the space is devoted to metalwork. We even got a demonstration on that side of a working model.
In both parts of the museum, you could get help from the docents, if you wanted it.
I noticed they had a scavenger hunt for children to encourage them to really look at the items.
We would go again if we were in the area and probably find something different that we missed this first visit.
