My guide, Enok, amazing guy, friendly and so helpful led me through the lush coffee fields, where I learned how to carefully pick the ripest coffee cherries. It was a hands-on experience that gave me a deep appreciation for the work behind every cup. We did the entire process the old-fashioned way, sorting the beans by hand, drying them under the sun, and roasting them over an open fire. As we prepared the beans, we sang songs, making the experience even more special and immersive.
Roasting the beans myself was a highlight. Watching them change color and release their deep, nutty aroma was mesmerizing. Then came the brewing, grinding the freshly roasted beans, steeping them, and finally sipping on the freshest cup of coffee I had ever had. The flavor was bold, rich, and incredibly smooth, making every step of the process worth it.
