点评：We traveled to the Maldives for the second time. This time we were with our 9 years old son. After a few days at the Vilamendhoo Resort, we decided that we should also try the local culture by staying on a local island. Our friends highly recommended Zhana and Ali LAVO, who live on Guraidhoo Island, located 40-45 minutes by Escape speedboat ferry from Male. We had a great time with them! If you want to explore the reef and marine life in South Malé Atoll, Zhana and Ali LAVO are the people who can organize it in the best way for you. Ali is a local, and knows all the amazing snorkeling spots in the area. He can amaze you with places to swim with dolphins, sharks, rays, turtles and various reefs, which can be reached by his boat. He is cheerful and smiling, a good storyteller of the local culture. Zhana is European, incredibly hospitable and responsive to our every need. They also have a cafe-restaurant LAVO, located on the port, with a beautiful view of the sunset, where they also offer delicious fish, catch of the day. The island itself is very peaceful and a good place to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the locals. Thank you Zhana and Ali for the incredible time! We will come to visit you again!
