点评:We enjoyed sampling the food at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival but we did not think that the food measured up to the hype. Plus some of the food samples were pricey for what we were given.
We ordered the full menu at the Tangierine Café: Moroccan Spiced Lamb kebab and Chermoula Chicken kebab (each $6.25), Stone Baked Moroccan Bread ($5) and Pistachio Cake ($4.75).
The nicely spiced small kebabs were served hot and sat on a tasty cold chickpea salad. Skip the bread and cake. The very small puffy bread deflated when it was pulled out of the oven - it lacked texture and flavor (nothing like a good naan or pita) and was served cold with hummus and two dips (the dips were great with the kebabs). The very pretty pistachio bundt cake was dense with little flavor.
We went to France and ordered the small Brioche aux Escargots ($7.95). It was not good - the two or three small escargot were coated with a thick cream sauce that just made a soggy mess of the brioche.
We ended our culinary tour in Germany where we ordered Schinkennudeln ($5.25) that was mac n cheese with ham. It was tasty but it would have been much better had it been served hot and gooey and not as a slowly congealing cheese blob.
