TWO NEW DISCOVERIES IN CASHMAN PARK

点评：On a revisit about a year later, I learned that the paved walking path along the river isn't just part of Cashman Park. It has a name. It's Newburyport Harborwalk Rail Trail. It's under a mile long.
It begins on the other side of US-1 at Tournament Wharf where the Clipper City Rail Trail ends, passes through Cashman Park, and ends near the North End Boat Club at the end of Manson Avenue.
TIP: Bicyclists planning on riding the Clipper City Rail Trail can add the Newburyport Harborwalk Rail Trail to their itinerary for scenic views of the Merrimack River and the Gillis Memorial Bridge and Drawbridge.
On my new walk, I also learned that there is a sportfishing pier at Cashman Park.
These two extras add to my rating of Cashman Park at 4.50.
The reason for the delay in submitting this review was due to a months-long loss of my ability to post photos with my reviews and some health issues.
