Not as nice as it used to be
Haywood Mall的点评
点评：Back in the 1980s and 1990s, this mall dominated in Greenville, and it was relatively nice and had a lot of variety.
I came here on a Saturday night, just like I would in the 1980s, but gosh, it's changed, and not for the better! There was a decent-sized crowd, but most people seemed to be under 21 and they weren't there to stop, and a lot of the stores were closed for the day already. Plus the nicer stores seem to have moved downtown, which is definitely a lot nicer now and has a nicer crowd. For example, Williams-Sonoma closed and is reopening downtown, and its former space at Haywood has been filled by a mattress store.
I've been to many malls that are worse, and this mall does have an Apple store and a Cheesecake Factory, and Dillard's has gotten a lot more upscale, so it's not all negative, but I will not be returning. Downtown is a lot nicer.
