点评：This was in 2023, I’m still so upset about it, I need to get it off my chest. Told to arrive 2 hrs early. Cab dropped me off. Place is deserted. Door is unlocked, I go in and look for someone, then look for a landline to call my cab back because my phone isn’t dialing out. There is no WiFi. I’m alone on my first solo trip, I’m meeting a tour group the next day. I have painful muscle spasms and wanted therapy first thing after I flew in and dropped off my luggage. It was too early to check in, hence my 12pm massage appt. I call my husband in the middle of the night (home time) having a complete panic attack, asking him to call my cab. He can’t call out. We didn’t know we needed a country code. I can’t even tell you how scared I was to be on an island far far away from anything. At 11am, a woman comes in and is mad that I’m inside the house (seeking shelter, and only looked around to find someone and find a phone). She told me the owner was on Vacation and I wasn’t allowed in the house, she saw that so had been crying. She took me to a reception room, locked me in, and drove away. She came back about 15min before my appointment and told me that she was catering a wedding. Then she went and turned on the spa, starting pouring champagne (not for me), and put some music on. My massage therapist came in, told me to get on the table. She gave me an excellent and therapeutic massage. Then she disappeared. Now there’s a hen party going on, they’re all in their robes, getting into the spa, drinking champagne, living their best life. I ask first woman to call me a cab. She does, I leave. Besides the actual massage, it was a total nightmare. It was a horrible, frantic, and scary way to start my 17 day solo trip. my tip: Don’t book the earliest appointment, you won’t have the whole experience. You may just get PTSD.
