very mixed feelings

点评：This museum felt quite patronising towards the indigenous population and I didn't learn much about local culture, customs, traditions etc.
As one would expect there is a vast amount of religious exhibits and some aspects are interesting if superficial. Not all religions are covered and it all in the same depth.
A lot of thought has gone into thinking up all the theme rooms spread over seven floors and there are some interesting old photos.
The restaurant on the 4th floor is dreadful - premixed drinks out of a vending machine and an array of exceedingly unapetising snacks.
Noise reverberates throughout the whole museum and after a while can be very stressful. Notices requesting "silence" were summarily ignored which added to the problem.
Toilets are clean and plentiful. Ample parking. Closed on Sundays.
It was "ok" and we can appreciate the work and thought that went into creating the place. The execution however is wooden and we found it quite patronising and superficial. Also cold and with exhausting acoustics.
