点评:Great museum if your kids show interest in fossils or minerals. It is free, direct metro line (L1) from the Chamartin train station. It is open at the weekends and bank holidays, except in August(!!). We spent a little over than an hour there with a 5- and a 10-year-old. We could leave our backpacks with the lady at the entrance, who registers one of your IDs when you get there. You have to send your stuff through an X-ray machine as well. I saw strollers left at her area is well. I didn't see any elevators and they have stairs and I also didn't see a bathroom.
Anyway lovely experience. Btw in the main hall they have some cards like a visitors' book. The kids drew/wrote some stuff that we pinned to the board. Also there are some leaflets next to it with some extra info. Our little one used it as a treasure hunt, and ticked everything she found. They have the number of the cupboard on it and then a yellow flag shows the specific mineral, so it is not difficult at all and kept her occupied.
