disgusting smell
Alba Thermal Springs & Spa的点评
点评：I attended Alba Thermal Springs on Sunday 23rd March 2025, at approx 10.30 am. Only one counter opened and after waiting approximately 15mins, 4 other staff attended at counter. This was a bad start to out organised thermal springs day. I bathed with my partner at the highest part of the complex and the smell was awful. It really smelt of raw sewerage. Multiple other areas had the same disgusting smell and my partner was dry reaching. We found relief in the sauna and after a hour, our bathing day was ended.
The smell throughout this complex is unbearable and takes away from the serenity and ambience, of this terrific complex. The first time we attended, our day was incredible and we expected another glorious day. The weather was around 22 degrees with hardly any wind.
We showered and went to enjoy our prepaid lunch. We found the lunch to be delicious but my dory fish came with 2 spring onions, with the root ends still on and 3 beans and a small piece of fish. It stated a $10 surcharge for the fish and when I went to pay, it was $11 because of an extra surcharge for Sunday. Be wary of the upselling and hidden charges.
I complained about the smell on leaving and the staff member was aware of the issue but couldn't even apologise or even make an excuse for this disgusting smell. Our day was ruined but don't expect any sympathy from Alba staff. Until the smell issue is sorted, we will definitely going to the competitor across the road.
