点评：Jeremy did a great job taking us to La Leona Waterfalls and then tubing. We arrived at OffiTours (thanks to our driver Diego) and were kitted out with lifejacket and were able to store our effects in the locker on site. Jump into the back of the pickup truck, and we went off to the start of the short hike down steep steps to get to the rivers edge. Following along the rocks we reached the main pools where you swim by pulling along on a rope until you get to the large central rock. Here it can be tricky depening on the current - if you can get your feet under you and grab the rope, then you dont need to be dragged up like a wet lump. A nice swim in the main pool under the waterfall and then we were off again, walking along the rivers edge until we met back up with the pickup truck.
Swapping our gear for helmets at OffiTours, we walked down to the river and got onto our tubes. The guides were very helpful pushing us over shallow spots and controlling our direction so we had the safest and most fun adventure. Although pointing out the scary spiders was necessary so that I would avoid touching the rock walls by mistake.
Recovering from spinal surgery, I still struggled with heat and uphills, so the staff were very helpful to carry my tube back to the meet up point. Jeremy was always supportive - offering his hand to help me climb over rocks and make sure i got a break when it was needed.
Our driver (Deigo) then brought us back to our hotel in Liberia.
