Villages and Bana Hills Tour With Tam - A Must Do!!

点评：Tam was such a great guide! He was funny, personable, and even went out of his way to give us excellent recommendations in our down time in Hoi An. We did the Bana Hills and Villages tour, both of which we could not recommend more.
Bana Hills could definitely be done on your own - it’s an amusement park and is fairly navigable if you use the English guidebook that the park provides. However, Tam had the “insider” knowledge to get us through the park quickly and efficiently. We had tons of fun, and were able to see the whole park in one day (which we probably couldn’t have done had we gone by ourselves). Additionally, Tam knew exactly how to help us avoid the crowds - we didn’t wait in line for longer than 5 minutes because he had strategically planned our day, guiding us to the most popular attractions earlier in the morning. Further, it was really nice not having to stress about figuring out the cable car system.
The Villages tour was even better (our favorite of the two). In addition to the amazing context and history that he provided for each of the experiences that we got to have, he got us local discounts and prices.
We - as tourists from the West - acknowledged that it can be easy for us to be fairly removed from the everyday experiences of the Vietnamese people, especially in the more tourist-oriented areas of Hoi An. We specifically wanted to book a tour with a local company because we felt it was a little presumptuous to assume that we could see and experience the “authentic” Hoi An by ourselves. Tam delivered and even exceeded our expectations and hopes.
We cannot recommend this company and Tam enough! Definitely do the Villages tour. We will certainly be back in Hoi An, and will be reaching out to this company again :)
