Gray Whales 1 Day Tour

点评：I traveled from the UK especially to participate in the Gray Whales Tour and I wasn’t disappointed - it was an unforgettable experience.
I did the day tour from La Paz twice - two days in a row
The tours were well organised and I was picked up and dropped off on time
The guides I had were so much fun - obviously knowledgeable and passionate about the whales. The guides on my days on tour were Mikel and Alba - fantastic people
There was no shortage of whales - they were everywhere - some were breaching, others playing with their calfs. The boat Captains are not intrusive and don’t harass or chase the whales - the welfare of the whales was important to the guides and boat Captains and I’m glad that this was the case.
With that said, we did experience a couple of friendly and curious whales who came closer to check us out. One whale in particular kept coming back to play with us and swam close alongside the boat - I didn’t get to touch her but I almost did - I think my hand was only 1 or 2 feet away from her.
There are some snacks and fruit on the boat for if you’re hungry and a couple of days after the tour you’re sent a link so that everyone can share photos
I would highly recommend this tour for anyone with an interest in whales - they really are the most amazing animals. Without a doubt I would also choose Baja Wild Encounters again
