A real treat, close to Cape May - Sperlak Sculpture Gardens

点评：A lovely, intriguing spot to visit in Goshen, NJ! We were greeted warmly by Stan, the owner and artist, who gave us an overview of the indoor and outdoor galleries. After paying the $10 per person fee we set off on our hike around the expansive property. ( Note- there is no fee if you just want to check out the indoor gallery in the barn.)
My husband and I walked the entire outdoor gallery. At a very leisurely pace, it took us about 2 hours. We found the paths easy to navigate and the various sculptures and artwork very interesting. There is an eclectic mix of pieces of all sizes and a lot of fun, whimsical installations and descriptions. A few of the pieces were interactive and invite the viewer to rearrange parts of the exhibit. There are paths through the forest and out to a spectacular view of the marsh, some more formal gardens and secret paths around a pond. All in all it was a very enjoyable afternoon. We have made several return visits to enjoy some terrific music events and look forward to attending more in the future!
