Nice waterside area to stroll during the day, but full of posers at night, when you are better off in Dalt Vila

点评：A sizeable port and Marina with the posh yachts on one side and the Cruise ships and car ferries on the other, it’s a very pleasant area to stroll during the day and take it all in, and its not very far from here to reach the other areas of Ibiza Town. There are several bars and restaurants that line the Marina, especially those that line Carra Andanes, but like posh Marinas everywhere else these do come with the usual “Marina tax” and better and cheaper options can be had short distance away in the back streets of the Old Town, Dalt Vila. This was especially true at night when the myriad of Marina side bars attract the beautiful people wanting to be seen (that’s posers to you and me), who don’t mind paying a few euro’s more for their cocktails.
One other big plus of the Marina is that the western side, where the passenger ferry boats dock, is home to an enormous taxi rank which in our experience has a constant stream of green light taxis at any time of day of night, taking the angst out of how to get back to your accommodation, especially in the small hours.
