Grand Canyon West Skywalk的点评
点评：Paid extra for this part of our trip to the Grand Canyon without really understanding what is involved. Lesson learnt to read reviews on here before booking something as they all have a similar pattern. The queuing system for getting in is quite ridiculous, if they just ran it as a one out one in system it would get the queues moving a lot faster. The skywalk literally cleared empty before they let anymore people on, this leads to waits well in excess of an hour. Secondly, the photographers on the skywalk slow everything up by wanting to take 20-30 pictures of everyone. If you just let people take on their own phones, they’d take a few pictures and be off within 5 minutes. Instead, we have photographers holding up the whole experience. Just so they can try make a few extra dollars in asking you to buy a few pictures. The whole set up puts a real dampener on something that has a lot of potential. The views are great and it’s a fantastic idea which has been ruined by ridiculous procedural planning. Not ever going to return to the Grand Canyon but I’ll make sure to recommend to anyone that visits to avoid this part as it’s verging on a scam. On top of this, as we went to collect our included meal after the skywalk the cafe was closed. This is presumably because it took so long to finish the skywalk that they’d ran out of food.
